ZD500dx - 11.3.2015 |
Reviewer: Ken Shipley (Summerland Point, New South Wales) |
I have owned one of these ZD500dx de-soldering stations for around 8 years. In that time it has always worked perfectly ,never lost any of it's suction and the only parts i've replaced are tips and filters. I use it daily and would be lost without it. I also have a Hakko 808 which i hardly ever use , it's terrible compared to the Edsyn. |

lots of thermal mass for multi layer boards - 6.18.2015 |
Reviewer: chris rockhey (howell, MI) |
they look dated in cosmetic design but don't let that fool you, these build up vacuum when the tool is lifted from it's holder and has nearly instant suction when needed. mine was busted up in a vehicle crash as i carry mine in field service and all the parts where available and reasonable in cost and was able to be restored to as new operation even though i have had mine for well over 10 years, great tool, you will never be unhappy with it, take care of it and it will take care of you hands down |
