| I bought my PT109 some 30 + years ago. It's been used on everything from Rock-n-Roll amplifiers, microphones and cables, to 2-way radios and computers. I just recently picked it up to use on a power supply board and found that it did not hold suction any more. Upon examination I determined that the "O" ring had worn out. When I got on the EDSYN web site, I was pleased to read that not only is EDSYN still manufactured in the US, but they have a repair kit that includes a new "O" ring with lubricant. I just ordered the repair kit and have no doubt that this unit will serve me another 30 yrs. Keep up the GREAT work EDSYN!! |
